Three Brazilian Scenes
Cervo, Dimitri
1 S & hpschd or keyboard.. The first movement depicts a delightful melody over syncopated Brazilian rhythms. The second is slower and uses tradition rhythms from the north east of Brazil and the third movement is a freely invented toccata which, with its irregular metric and thrilling melodies, concedes the piece brilliantly.
