Symphony in D
Buehler, Franz arr Marshall
11 SoSSAATTBBGbCb. The German composer Franz Bu?hler (1760-1823) wrote many works suitable for players and singers of modest ability; among such pieces is his Symphony in D, originally for flute, clarinet, trumpet, horns and strings. Ann Marshall found this little-known but charming work and, together with Steve, arranged it for recorder orchestra. Specifically the arrangement is suitable for an 'easy' recorder orchestra, where it is a welcome addition to the very small repertoire of larger pieces for such a group.
