Four Easter Choruses
Marshall, Ann
4 SATB. Especially compared to the vast amount of Christmas music, there is very little Easter music, and even less available for recorders. Ann has drawn the four choruses from various sources, by far the best known in the UK being Stainer's Crucifixion (represented by 'God So Loved The World'). All of the pieces are late Victorian or Edwardian, and what the composers have in common is that they studied composition in England.
