3 SAB. This short fantasia, originally for three viols, achieves great beauty with the simplest of means. Ann and I have produced an edition which enables groups to dip their toes in the water of unbarred music - there is a score and parts with barlines, but then a version without barlines (as the original) for those who want a better understanding of why barlines can be an unwanted distraction. It sounds even more beautiful on TBCtB, and a bass clef version of the treble part is provided.
